The IBB-HSG is located at St.Jakob-Strasse 21 in St.Gallen, in the immediate neighbourhood of the newly planned Platztor and only a few minutes' walk from the Marktplatz Bohl.
At the main station in St.Gallen, take either bus line 3 or 6 towards Heiligkreuz or line 4 towards Wittenbach. The buses run every few minutes (Bus timetable - Timetable by line (vbsg.ch)). Get off at the bus stop Schützengarten and cross the main road. You will find the IBB-HSG next to the Schützengarten brewery on the left-hand side.
If you are travelling by car, take the St.Gallen - St.Fiden motorway exit and drive towards the centre. At the large intersection, take the direction Gossau - Herisau - Appenzell. The institute building is on the right-hand side. There is a limited number of publicly managed parking spaces around the Institute. In addition, the Spelterini public car park and the Brühl parking garage are only a few minutes' walk away.
