Design, development, testing and evaluation of AI-based teaching-learning scenarios
In the field of AI & Robotics, we deal with the design, development, testing and evaluation of AI-based teaching and learning scenarios. Among other things, our social robots "Lexi" (robot type Pepper) and "Scillie" (robot type Nao) are used for this. Another focus of our work is co-creation with generative AI, such as ChatGPT for researching and developing new work and training scenarios or as a new form of personalised learning with AI-based assistance systems.
With the SNSF-funded project "Next Generation of Digital Support for Fostering Student's Academic Writing Skills" in cooperation with Prof. Dr. Siegfried Handschuh, Institute of Computer Science (ICS) at the University of St.Gallen and with Mahidol University in Thailand, we are developing and evaluating the tool "Artist", an AI-based tool for personalised feedback on writing processes.
