... is all about empowering those who are responsible for education to help shape the digital transformation and to promote people's digital competences. The focus here is on building digital ecosystems for organising educational processes. In addition, data-based education management plays an important role in optimising and further developing educational processes and materials. Within the framework of initiatives on Digital Lifelong Learning and the promotion of "competences in the digital world", we should also integrate the added values of Open Educational Resources (OER) into the current digitization discourse in research and practice.
In cooperation with Prof. Dr. Annette Ostendorf / Prof. Dr. Bernd Gössling (University of Innsbruck) and with Prof. Dr. Dirk Ifenthaler (University of Mannheim), we started the two-year funding project to strengthen vocational education and training (VET) on 1 October 2022. The aim of the project is to develop an educational offer and to provide it sustainably for "Future Learning" - development of future scenarios for Learning Location Cooperation in VET.
The project is funded by the Movetia Foundation.

"Vocational Education and Training (VET) 2030" is a partnership-based initiative that anticipates changes in the labour market and in society and makes VET fit for the future. Funded by the Confederation, State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI), we are working on the project "Future models of learning location cooperation" until 2023. The aims of the project are to examine the implications of the digital transformation for learning location cooperation (LOC) in more detail and, building on this, to develop future models of LOC in order to be able to use the potential of advanced digitalisation (in particular data analytics and artificial intelligence) for educational processes in a network economy.
